![]() MacBook Air (both M1 and M2) are rated at 18h by Apple. Looks like the claim is 25% true in the way I use the wireless web. Even though Apple rates MBP16" 2019 at 11h of "wireless web". Similar usage got me 2h to 3h on a MacBook Pro 16" 2019, a burned lap, and jet-engine noise from the fans. Cannot get below 10h runtime at full brightness on MT8183. I've recently been using a $99 4GB 64GB MT8183 2-in-1 Chromebook, Lenovo IP Flex 3 Chrome 11M836, there are some limitations mostly from just the 4GB RAM, but I'm very happy with the battery life of the thing. While I need a new laptop I would really love an M1 Max iMac so I can laugh out loud editing the ridiculous compressed 4K codecs we have these days.I've been using OS X and macOS on and off, before it was cool. I’m pretty sure my OS and iMac are not compatible with this new version. I’m still on Catalina and not getting the update option.
